Privacy Policy

B The Source is a conceptual furniture design and manufacturing studio headquartered in Jepara, Java, Indonesia, with a design studio in Uluwatu, Bali.

This policy covers data collected through our website at bthesource.co. Questions can be directed to studio@bthesource.co.

Website analytics — We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. They collect anonymised data: page views, referrer, device type, country, and page performance. No personal identifiers and no cookies.

Advertising measurement — We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to measure the results of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. When you visit the site, the Pixel sends Meta the pages you view, your IP address, browser user agent, and Meta's own cookie identifiers. When you submit a quote request, we also send Meta a one-way hashed (SHA-256) copy of your email address, so the enquiry can be matched to the ad that brought you here.

Quote requests — When you submit the Request a Quote form, we collect the details you enter (name, email, company, website or Instagram, role, project type, location, timeline, project scope, preferred contact method, and phone number if given), along with how you found us (UTM campaign tags, ad click identifiers such as fbclid or gclid, the referring site, and the page you first landed on).

Messages — If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send, through those services.

Analytics data is used to understand how visitors use the site and to improve content and performance.

Quote request details are used to respond to your enquiry, prepare proposals, and manage the resulting project. Campaign and click information is used to understand which of our marketing brings in enquiries.

Advertising data is used to measure and improve our Meta ad campaigns. We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to mailing lists without your explicit consent.

Our website uses the following browser storage:

• Theme preference — stored in localStorage as architecture-theme. Remembers your light/dark mode choice. Never sent to our servers.
• Quote list — stored in localStorage as quote-list. Remembers the catalogue pieces you've added to a quote. Sent to us only if you include them in a request.
• Visit source — stored in sessionStorage for the length of your visit. Holds the campaign tags and click identifiers from the link that brought you here, so they can be attached to a quote request. Cleared when you close the tab.
• Meta Pixel cookies — advertising cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) set by Meta to measure ad performance and attribute visits to ads.

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights operate without cookies. You can clear or block browser storage and cookies at any time in your browser's settings without affecting your ability to use the site.

We share data with the following processors, only as described above:

• Vercel — hosts the website and provides cookie-free analytics. Vercel privacy policy.
• Meta — Meta Pixel and Conversions API for advertising measurement; WhatsApp if you message us; Instagram if you follow links to our profile. Meta privacy policy.
• Airtable — stores quote requests so our team can follow them up. Airtable privacy policy.
• Resend — delivers the confirmation email you receive after a quote request, and our internal notification of it. Resend privacy policy.

We keep quote requests and related correspondence for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry or project, and no longer than 3 years after our last contact with you, unless we need to keep them longer for legal or accounting reasons.

Analytics data is retained by Vercel in anonymised, aggregated form. Advertising data sent to Meta is retained under Meta's own policies.

Under GDPR (if you are in the EU/EEA), CCPA (if you are in California), and applicable Indonesian law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability

Our website is served over HTTPS. We do not store payment information — all financial transactions related to orders are handled directly between parties.

This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
