JEPARA AND SOLO, CENTRAL JAVA
Our furniture is made in Central Java: solid wood and upholstery in one factory, panels and cabinetry in another.
Chairs, tables and frames, from rough planks to the packed box.
01
Solid-wood pieces start as rough planks in the yard. Curved parts, like chair arms and backs, are cut from them as blanks.

02
Planks go into our drying chambers before anything is cut. Dry timber moves less once the piece is in a room, whatever the climate.

03
Band saws cut the curves. The planer and spindle shaper bring each part to size.

04
Joints are marked by hand, fitted and clamped. Frames are put together one at a time at the bench.

05
Surfaces are sanded by hand and machine before the finish goes on.

06
Frames are checked against the drawing before they go to upholstery.

07
Upholstery is done in the same factory: webbing first, then foam cut to the frame by hand, then the cover.

08
Finished pieces are wrapped in plastic and cardboard, then boxed and shipped worldwide.

Cabinets and built-in pieces, cut and drilled on CNC, then edged and sanded.
01
Panels are drilled and routed on a CNC machine, programmed from the drawing.

02
The edge bander glues a strip to every exposed panel edge and trims it flush.

03
Boards are planed to thickness, measured with calipers and sanded flat on a wide-belt sander.
